The Nebraska Trucking Association, in partnership with attorneys from Cline Williams Wright Johnson & Oldfather, is hosting a free webinar for NTA members to help employers understand the Nebraska Healthy Families and Workplaces Act—a new law that requires covered Nebraska employers to provide paid sick leave to eligible employees. The Act takes effect on October 1, 2025, with written notice requirements beginning as early as September 15, 2025.

Sydney M. Huss, a partner at Cline Williams Wright Johnson & Oldfather, will lead the session and walk through what businesses need to do now to prepare. Attendees will learn how the law applies to their organization and gain practical guidance on how to comply with the new requirements.
